Your Daily Word Count is simply your Draft Word Count (110% of the word count you want in your final book) divided by whatever time frame you want to write your book in.
EXAMPLE
In the Academy we are challenging you to write your book within 12 months.
Here’s a table
(A) Final Book Word Count | 70,000 |
(B) First Draft Word Count (A x 110%) | 77,000 |
Daily Word Count (B / 365) | 211 |
Before we drive in, watch this video where Mark Desvaux explains why he prefers daily word counts over weekly ones.
