When you’re starting out, the idea of writing and finishing one book will feel like a mammoth task, so the idea of writing a series may seem completely overwhelming, but it’s something you should consider when you first start to outline your book.
After all, why sell one book when you can sell a trilogy, a quartet, a seven-part saga, or a long-running series? There’s plenty of evidence to show that authors who produce series of books have greater success when it comes to marketing their books and building an ongoing readership.
