Hi @Sandra – DEFINITELY get to the end of the story first. As you finish the draft, when you come across something that should be seeded in or foreshadowed earlier just write a note for yourself in the text as your writing so it’s there for your next draft. I do it in caps like this FIND SOMEWHERE TO SEED THIS IN EARLER – apologies for the shouty caps. As you comple the story you’ll probably have lots of ideas on how to seed stuff in make a note of the ideas in the text too.
Re killing off your MC getting to the end of the draught will help – you’ll be able to feel what’s right for the story.
