Laura, this is really good – IWRT!
The only thing I have any issue with is this bit:
As she starts to piece together what happened, one thing becomes clear, she died because of what happened that night all those years ago. As suspicions rise amongst the childhood pals, Eve can see that her old friends have changed and no one is who she thought they were -including her own husband.
I get the idea that one of the former friends is behind it, and she’ll need to work out who. I just feel that might need to spelled out more, perhaps?
And I love the fact that even her husband has something to hide. If you emphasise the ‘no-one to trust’ angle, it would definitely make her position more terrifying.
I look forward to hearing more about this book!
