    Hi Adam…love your story idea…I did get a little hung up at her uncle “throwing her” into his invention—makes him sound like a real cad…and yet she’s going to try and rescue him? Also “sarcastic ego,” I was envisioning a sarcastic entity (aka the “Daemons” in the Golden Compass). Sarcasm is a form of humour/wit, right? Although it’s regarded as the lowest form… and ego is her sense of self. So I didn’t see sarcastic as an adjective for ego. Nobody else got hung up this, so just sayin’ 🙂 Also, “hop through the ribbon road,” made me wonder if she’s a bunny in this alternate dimension (thus the carrots??) But to quote Alice, “curiouser and curiouser…” I’d have loved to read this story. Looking forward to hearing more about it 🙂
